Arkab Sabik gamely suffered through many kilometers, winning several rides, including 100 milers, achieving a Certificate of Merit for Endurance riding from the Arab Horse Society of SA, but he often stumbled and had several serious falls until we started riding with an Enduro saddle. His stride lengthened again and he stopped falling! What a happy horse! Unfortunately the new saddle came too late for his endurance career, but he has a happy retirement, giving many enjoyable stumble free rides!

Arkab Kazane, another eager campaigner suffered from a sore back at every ride, we rode him with the thickest sponge numnahs we could find, otherwise he nearly collapsed whenever mounted, he dropped his back for several yards before adapting to the discomfort. Today, with his own Liversage saddle he has many comfortable hours with only our standard felt numnah.
